Atum seems to promise Osiris that they two will not be cut off from each other, even though Horus takes over the rule of his father in the upper world. So literally, but uncertain of meaning and perhaps corrupt. Atum's purpose in destroying his creation and returning it to primeval chaos is not stated here.
